My Project

I love that my students are eager to learn. I start off each year by asking my students how I can be their champion? I do not start off with my expectations of them, but rather their expectations of me. I then try to live up to those expectations and help them see that I can be their champion through my teaching and my actions.

I believe in relationships before rigor, grace before grades, patience before programs, and love before lessons!

With this attitude, my students have consistently put forth the effort, have a great mentality for learning, and are learning to discipline themselves to study and put school first. The math and science material will give them the resources they need at their fingertips. Each student will have an opportunity to explore math and science in a variety of ways. Lastly, what student does not like rewards? I would like to give out reward bucks so students can visit the treasure box each Friday.

We also want the hopscotch carpet for students to celebrate, skip, and stay energized throughout the day. Celebrating students' success motivates them to persevere each week.
