This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are amazing! They are creative, sociable, and excited to learn and grow. They give their best effort each day and strive to meet their academic and personal goals. They inspire me each day to be a better educator and put forth the effort to deliver the best lessons each class period. Their learning motivates me to keep trying new pedagogical strategies and techniques in order to help them rise above their individual challenges and find success in all they do and dream.
I am just asking for assistance with COVID-19 precautionary materials and individual snacks for my students.

My Project
My students are in the 7th grade. I am responsible for teaching Math. My students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. My students are able to do distance learning or face-to-face. Due to COVID-19, it is required for all staff and students to wear masks.
I would like to be able to have extra cleaning supplies on hand and individual snacks for my students.
They will use the wipes and paper towels to clean their desk before leaving class. They will use the hand sanitizer as they enter and exit my room. Lysol will be sprayed each day to help with air quality and the individually wrapped snacks will be for students to eat as treats for being warriors.
