Our school is located in the North Carolina state, the city of Gaston. The students are driven by the passion to go to college and to strengthen their communities. They believe in hard-work and they have grit and zest in all they do.The students are awesomely willing to go an extra mile to do their best in education. They can do anything they set their minds to and they can climb mountains and cross rivers to succeed
My Project
Many students struggle with math and it is unfortunate that that do not really get the help and assistance they need to do well. I have students that need remediation in math, however the materials to do that is not really available. Materials like individual white boards where they can work individually in their space with the help of the teacher.
They have the passion to do well but they have very limited materials.Most of them are from low income backgrounds and it has left them feeling helpless because there is just a few whiteboards and other remediation materials available for them.
