My Students

I am a 6th grade teacher in a very low income, high poverty school district. My students face many challenges daily and have to overcome many disadvantages. One of my goals is to provide them with the technology and resources to help them be able to compete with students around the world. I want to help them have rich and engaging learning experiences.

When I see what my students are capable of doing daily, I can only imagine what's possible with unlimited resources!

They are an extremely talented group of students and are willing to go above and beyond every day.

My Project

Knowing how to use and incorporate technology is a necessary requirement in today's world! The iPad Pro I am requesting for my classroom will allow my students many opportunities. An iPad is an awesome tool for interacting with our classroom's Smartboard and would be utilized during daily math lessons. An iPad offers several programs that connect with our Smartboard that will allow them to lead the class discussions and take control of their learning!

By donating to our project, you will be giving my students resources to provide not only important skills in using technology, but also provide them with an exciting way to enhance their learning!

In today's world where teachers are competing against social media and video games, providing students with learning opportunities that incorporate technology is even more important than ever!
