This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of our mathematical practice standards states that students should be able to explain their mathematical problem-solving. The students were given black earbuds that did not have a microphone.

Please help my students by providing earbuds with the microphone accessory, microphones, and additional headpieces with microphones.

This will help students record their mathematical problem-solving pathway. Right now we are trying to record, but the background noise makes their recordings inaudible. I only have 3 microphones available, which makes it difficult for all students to record themselves.

After they record their mathematical explanations we are able to listen, critique, and suggest how the student can improve their explanations.
