This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Once every quarter my math classes get a point store. The students earn points by doing class assignments, showing good behavior, being leaders, helping others and much more. My students work hard and always ask when is our point store. The students work hard to earn their points.

The store teaches the students how to spend their points and still keep point for the next store.

I use this store as a real-life example of earning and spending. The students have to work for the points so they can purchase the items they want. The point store is not just a reward but a learning experience. We Greatly Appreciate all Donations given to help fund this exciting project.
