My Students

A typical day in my classroom involves lots of math! I teach math to three third grade classes. That's about sixty students! We are always counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, or building something! I am hoping that my students leave my room feeling as if they are mathematicians!

As my students continue their journey through third grade, I want to ensure they have all materials needed to help them to be successful learners.

My students come to school willing and eager to learn. My students always find great satisfaction in discovering new things. They truly love to explore and learn!

My Project

It's always easier to understand a new concept when we are able to see a good model. The ELMO document scanner will allow us to do just that! I can model work for my students by using the scanner along with our projector. The students can also share their work with peers as well. We've used a scanner like this in the past, but it was old and needed replaced. The students loved it and it was beneficial when we were able to share and model work. It is especially helpful to my visual learners who learn best from seeing examples.
