This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 7th and 8th grade math students and math intervention students would benefit from having access to a color printer to make posters and handouts for our classroom. Students have been using digital skills to create art projects and build mathematical models that we would like to print in color.

Printer ink goes quickly in class so we also need refill ink.

It is more cost effective and allows us to print more color copies if we have ink refills for the printer tank.

I also need a document camera to hook up to my smart board. This will allow me to model math problems on handouts and worksheets in front of the class on my projection board for my students. Having the technology in my classroom to model mathematics through color printed materials and a projected image on my screen will make a world of difference to my students!
