My Project

Math can feel abstract and frustrating when students are only expected to solve problems on paper. These manipulative kits will allow students to physically build, sort, compare, and model mathematical concepts in a hands-on way that makes learning more meaningful and accessible. Using visual and tactile tools helps strengthen number sense, problem-solving skills, and student confidence while also increasing engagement during lessons.

My goal for this project is to create more interactive math experiences that encourage curiosity, collaboration, and persistence.

I want students to have opportunities to explore concepts actively instead of memorizing procedures without understanding them. These materials will help support differentiated instruction and give students multiple ways to approach learning.

My students are creative, resilient, and learn best when they can actively participate in the learning process. They bring unique perspectives, energy, and curiosity into the classroom every day. Providing engaging, hands-on resources will help create an environment where all students can feel successful, challenged, and excited to learn math.
