This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love how my students are ready to enhance skills and build strategies to strengthen their learning. I love the excitement and determination they have when we are able to use manipulatives, such as addition manipulaties, ten frames, and multiplication dominoes, to show off the new skills being taught. Using the cash register can help students show off the skill of being able to count money. It makes feel good as an educator when a student can use manipulatives to solve complicated problems. My students enjoy being hands on and I would like to keep giving them that opportunity.
