This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Math is used in everyday life. My high school students with special needs definitely need math skills to function at home and in the community. They are awesome students with unique abilities and have different ways of learning. My requested materials will definitely help them learn essential math skills.

My students learn best with manipulatives and tactile objects.

They are able to learn math concepts with fun activities and materials that are meaningful. The products I selected (counting money puzzles, geometric tub, place value activity kit, math folder game library, etc.) will enhance the learning experience of my students and prepare them for their transition after high school.
