Help me give my students engaging and educational math manipulatives to help them truly understand multiplication and fractions, which are so vital to learn in 3rd grade!
Curious, excitable, and spirited, my students are full of energy and love learning, especially when it includes hands-on manipulatives. After doing virtual school and being home for so long, they love getting to be around their peers again, and that is clear in the way they interact with each other and help one another.
My class is full of bright-eyed 8 and 9 year olds with huge hearts, who care deeply about their classmates and schoolmates.
My Project
These math manipulatives would make such a difference in my student's learning! After being virtual for so long, many students have a shortened attention-span, and it takes thinking outside the box to keep them engaged and wanting to learn.
They become so engaged and passionate about what they are learning when they have access to hands-on learning materials!
It helps many of my students grasp the concepts much quicker as well, which is something really incredible, and allows for deeper understanding of what is being taught. Students need all the extra help and resources they can possibly get after being virtual for over a year, and it would be such a blessing to my students to have access to these exciting, hands-on materials as they do their best to learn multiplication and fractions.
