Our students come from all different backgrounds and learning experiences. There are 48 students in my classes and they are wonderful. Some students are learning the English language, some receive special needs services while others are provided with enrichment opportunities. These third graders are so excited about learning new things at school. Each one comes with their own learning experiences and needs. My classroom and our school excel at providing these students with a wonderful education in a caring learning environment.
My Project
In our classroom, we use a lot of hands-on activities where the students work with partners or in small groups to help learn the math concepts. The Multiplication Slam games are geared for their different abilities to challenge each student at their level.
My students love working with others and moving around while learning.
We've amassed over 100 sets of task cards to use during math rotations and we need somewhere to store them so they are easily accessible to the students. The bins, photo storage cases, and paper sorter banker's box will go a long way to helping us be organized.
Finally, I'd like a quick way to let parents know something positive their child has done in class. So it can be hung up on that quintessential place of honor: The Refrigerator.
