My Project
Meeting the math needs for students in grades K-5 can be challenging. From defining a hundreds chart, helping with number awareness to functional understanding of fractions, everything is important. Teaching math is an incredible adventure and I want to take students along for the fun.
Many students present with math anxiety, teaching with games and manipulative pieces can really help!
When students are allowed to have hands on experiences with math, it calms them, eases anxiety and increases their learning. By giving students the change to engage in math concepts through fun games, this challenging topic becomes a comfortable favorite that students feel confident in.
