My students are eager to learn, grow, and practice independence! We stay together as a class for 2 years, both 2nd and 3rd grade. We are family. We encourage each other, embrace differences, and unite to reach our goals. We laugh, cry, but most of all, we foster a love for learning. Help us expand our opportunities!
School is a safe place for many of my students.
I have students who come to school eager to learn, excited about what the day has in store and smiling from ear to ear. We have a variety of special needs students who need options to learn their best. My students are active and constantly on the go. They are the leaders of tomorrow!
My Project
Some students may work best sitting at their desk, on the floor with a lap desk, or on a wobble stool at a table to give them some room for their wiggles. We participate in Math stations on a daily basis and often lack the proper tools for new and improved games like dice The tools we are hoping to get will help us group fewer students together to maximize their learning potential.
Our classroom is full of independent thinkers who need independent spots to learn using wobble stools and various Math manipulatives like the Osmo kit to broaden their understanding of Math concepts.
We spend hours together each day, working, listening, sharing and collaborating together. I would like to give them options throughout the day for where to sit and work while using the various Math tools that our classroom so desperately needs. I want them to relax as they learn and be comfortable. They need options and the ability to move around the room with the space to utilize classroom tools.
