My students need math Instant Learning Centers to help prepare them for 3rd grade and also prepare them for the Common Core state tests.

My Students

My children are bright students who come from high poverty homes. They deserve to have the best materials.

My students receive free breakfast, free lunch, and also free snack daily.

Also on the weekends many of the students take home bags of food on the weekend because they do not have enough food in their home to eat. My students are wonderful kids who deserve the best materials to help them learn. With budget cuts and legislature not helping to fund education, teachers have to rely on generous donors to help my wonderful students get the resources they so richly deserve.

My Project

My students will use these materials in small group learning centers with me when I am reinforcing concepts I have taught in that days lesson and they will also use the materials in math work stations. The Instant Learning Centers are an excellent way for students to work together and also to learn from each other.

This project will make a difference because it will show my students that people out in the world do care.

These materials will help my students in mastering the Common Core math skills needed in second grade.
