My students need math books and games, like the book, "Grapes of Math," and the games, Who Knows Math? and the Purchase Game, to increase their math literacy.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Can you imagine not learning about money, time, or measurement?
My students are third graders at a school in Texas.
Our school is a Title I school. A large number of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. My students are excited about math and want to learn more about it. They find playing games as a fun way to learn.
My Project
This project will help my students with their math literacy. There are two math books that will help them better understand mathematical concepts. Multiple games have been included from 24 to Multiplication Football. I want my students to learn the mathematical concepts from spending money to saving money and how important it is to manage money. It is a goal of mine to make my students as math literate as possible.
Every donation made to this project will impact students in my classes this year and for years to come.
They will discover that math is all around us and how important math is in our lives. Will you help them in their quest for math knowledge?
