All of my students in my 6th grade math class come daily with a desire to learn. However, they lack the supplies needed to make this 6th grade math journey successfully. Our students are eager to learn and are increasing their mathematic knowledge this year. They are all bright and wonderful students who only require the basics to succeed.
Our students come from low-income households and attend a Title I school.
The community helps when possible, but the school benefits from community assistance as a whole. Our class is in dire need of supplies, and these specific selections will be used in my math class where we are starting to learn Algebraic Expressions and soon moving into graphing and data analysis. Binders will help my students keep math aids and handouts in safe locations, graphing paper will help my students have ready supplies for upcoming geometry lessons, the markers will allow my students to continue to work on their whiteboards for math lessons, and finally the cell phone lockers will allow us to put our cellular devices in a safe and secure location so we are not distracted in class. I look forward to seeing them excel in the coming topics, and with your help I know they can do so. Thank you for your time!
