My students need hands on math activities like the Build a number house blocks. To meet the needs of all the learners. The pop & add game will encourage students to work together as a team.
Kindergarten is such a special grade, most of the time my students are new to the school experience. I want to make their first year of elementary amazing and set up their foundation for being lifelong learners. In order to do this I must keep learning fun and engaging. I work at a Title 1 school in Tulsa. All of the students are on a free lunch and breakfast program. My students are excited about learning new things everyday in this consistent, loving environment. I want to inspire their love of learning and foster their inquisitive minds. They are wonderful, imaginative, kind children and deserve the very best everyday. Many students face hardship and still come to school with a smile on their face, ready to learn.
My Project
My students will use the math games to learn new skills. The will be a great motivator for my students to work cooperatively with their peers. The Snap and Slide number game will allow my students to work together and experience a fun and educational activity.
My students deserve to have tools to help them understand their skills better.
My students enjoy learning and they come to school each day enthusiastic and motivated. My class is a place where "mistakes are OK" and every attempt is celebrated! The math games will help with that enthusiasm and having fun while learning makes are day so much better in Kindergarten!
