My Students
My first grade students are very energetic. They are excited to start each day and love hands-on activities. They love sharing what they learned each day with their parents and anyone else that will listen.
My students come to school every day eager to learn and try new things.
I love their positive attitudes and bubbly personalities. They learn best through hands on activities and trying things out on their own. They are also very social and love working in groups.
My Project
My students will use these hands on math activities during centers to help them practice new skills independently. These interactive math centers cover many different standards that my students will be learning in first grade. These activities will be used at different times of the year in order to keep students engaged with new materials and help match the standards we are focusing on.
By donating to our project, you will not only help improve my students' math skills but you will also help them learn how to interact and cooperate with each other.
Social skills are very important for young learners. These materials will help my students find a love of math and learning as well as help create a positive impact for their school career.
