Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and enjoy math. The binders, page protectors, and dividers are going to help me make intervention binders for my students. To reach all of my students and for checks for understanding, my students would be using the whiteboards, markers, and erasers on a daily basis. My students love math, but need extra practice in multiplication and other math concepts. The multiplication games will give my students a hands on activity to play with and learn at the same time. These games will promote cooperative learning for the students.

I am also excited to create a word wall in my room for the students.

My students enjoy writing, but get frustrated spelling some words. A word wall will allow my students to feel more independent in their writing. Thus, having the bulletin boarders would be a great asset to have to make the word wall more appealing.
