Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to learn about the world around them. They are very curious and inquisitive. They are also very high energy which means when they are interested in a topic they like to dive deep into it. They also allow everything they are learning to take over their lives in many different aspects.
The children like to express what they know in many ways, this includes teaching one another and others around them about everything they are learning.
They love to talk and share their ideas about many different topics.
My Project
These materials are some materials that can help aid my students in their acquisition of math concepts. Math can be hard for someone of any age, but the trick is to make it fun and engaging! These supplies would help students in things like counting, sorting, patterns, shape recognition, and a lot more. My classroom does not have many resources when it comes to math materials, so these would be a great help. Most of the materials can be used in a large group or a small group activity. It also allows students to be able to practice the skill on their own.
