Help me give my students grasp all the necessary math concepts in second grade by using VersaTiles for independent practice and for small groups, rotations, centers, and stations.

I teach second grade in Northern Illinois, where each of my students is unique and have individual qualities. Within our classrooms, we have special education students who are mainstreamed into the regular classroom, along with English Language Learners. Our goal is to learn something every day!
My Project
Small groups are used to reinforce skill with specific activities allowing differentiate their classroom instruction for students to be successful.
Differentiation math with VersaTiles Math will make practicing and mastering math skills a fun and engaging experience in our math classes.
These kits include all our grade level math concepts including addition and subtraction to 20 and beyond; foundations of multiplication; equal groups and arrays; properties and place value; measurement and data: length, time, money, and analysis; and geometry: shapes and attributes.
The puzzle aspect of this program is highly engaging. First, the students answer the questions in the booklet by placing the number tile on the letter in the Answer Case that corresponds to the correct answer. Then students close the Answer Case and flip it over and open the case. Finally, check the tile pattern against the pattern in the Activity Book. If it matches, all answers are correct. If not, students may remove tiles that do not match and flip case to try again.
Students can practice skills using these VersaTiles independently, with their math partner or in small strategy groups. These kits will be a great alternative to worksheets and will create an engaging math station following the whole group lesson. Students will increase their confidence in math understanding while having fun.
