Math Games to Practice Skills and a Comfortable Room

My Project

Help give my students math manipulatives and games! As a new K-6 Math Specialist, I am working on building my resources to support student learning. I am in need of math manipulatives to promote hands-on learning, specifically for my students in my tier 2 and 3 groups.

These math manipulatives will help with number sense, stabilizing, adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.

Games such as Place Value Safari and the Place Value to Millions Game will allow the students to have fun while filling the gaps in their learning. They will use them to develop an understanding of place value, which supports number sense.

Additionally, I am seeking to get light covers for the harsh fluorescent lights in our room. I can not turn the lights off in my room because we have no natural light so I'm looking to cover the lights we have to make the room more comfortable. A more comfortable space will help students concentrate on the math skills they are learning.
