Math Games Matter!
Help me give my students a place to hold their math games and keep them organized.
In 2nd grade students are still active and eager to learn. Anything new and exciting in the classroom will definitely help motivate them!
I work at a Title I school where most students don't have a traditional home life.
Oftentimes students come to school and that is their "safe place." This is why making my classroom engaging and a special place to learn is so important to me. If they can't get special things at home-- why not let them experience that at school?
My students and I would appreciate any help you could offer. It's the little things that makes life (and learning) great!
I have tried for years to figure out a way to organize math games and materials and have struggled finding something sturdy and that will last. What ends up happening is that math pieces get mixed up or that the bins break.
My students have made amazing growth from math games!
Not only are they fun and engaging, but they are learning! (and loving it!)
Having a sturdy shelf with bins would make our learning games organized and easily accessible to go along with our new math curriculum that we just adopted.
