This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal for this project is to make indoor recess more engaging, fun, and meaningful for my students. During the cold winter months, we are, unfortunately, not able to go outside. For many students, recess is a time to interact with their peers and be able to relax in between classes. My students have expressed an interest in learning new games and solving puzzles, but I don't have enough materials for all students to participate.

Through these interactive math games, the students will be able to work on their critical thinking skills, while also learning how to work cooperatively with each other.

Please help me to reach my goal so that the students can be excited to be in indoor recess!
