My Students
Typically I try to make learning interesting and fun for the students by introducing new technology and activities everyday. I want my students to feel confident with math and see that learning can be fun while at the same time challenge them to their highest potential.
This is my second year and by far my students have the best hearts and willingness of any other kids.
They are a great group of kids that we try and instill character and leadership in and teach them not only what they need to know, but about real life as well and how they can improve themselves inside and outside of the classroom. I have an amazing group of students who are not only energetic, but very willing to learn and grow. They are very smart and always wanting to explore new ideas and love using technology.
My Project
I have been waiting for these math stations that can challenge my students and really help with my interventions and one on one work with them. I think these different stations and centers can take some of my struggling students to the next level. The chrome books would be great for the students that do not have access to the computer at home . We have a great math learning program called dream box that they love and it definitely challenges them. I use white boards everyday in my class to help the students show their work and have fun doing it. I have them write the answers on them and hold them up for answers so I can easily see the students.
It will change my classroom for the better by providing better resources for them to use and challenge themselves.
I think that if the students get bored, you lose their interest and lose their hard work. Having new and different resources will help keep them focused and on track.
