Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I teach a classroom of third graders who need as much hands-on learning as I can provide. They learn so much more, and are able to master concepts faster when they get to use manipulatives or play games.

In today's world, my students are constantly bombarded by tests and worksheets, things that have nothing to do with real-life learning. It is my goal and hope that I'm able to provide them with as many interactive games, manipulatives, and hands-on skill building activities as I can while in my classroom. I would love for you to join me in making my hope a reality!

I need math games, and activities that are self-motivated for my students to use during math workshop. These games will help them build on, and eventually master their mathematical skills, and will allow them to interact with one another while I get to work with individual students who need extra assistance.

With you as our supporter, there will be no stopping my students! They're such a wonderful group who simply need the opportunity to experience real-life, hands-on learning.
