Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We may live in a city that is considered the most dangerous city in the United States, but that is not who we are as individuals. We want to prove that we can achieve and be successful. We come from different countries and are trying to become part of this new world. All we ask is to be given the opportunity to succeed. My students want to become part of a society that shows us that we matter.
Living in a dangerous city is not what determines what we will become.
The students want to achieve and be successful. Our daily lives are full of danger, but we come to school ready to learn and work hard to beat that danger. Give us a chance to be what we know we can be: successful!
My Project
This Math Fluency Kit will be a great addition to the classroom in order for my students to achieve their math goals. This is a class of ELL students and they need all the resources possible to help them be successful in school.
Learning English is hard enough, help us make math a little easier for us.
These students can benefit from all the help that can be given to them. They have to combat the challenge of living in a city that has the worst reputation in the United States so why should we make education a challenge for them. Please help us do our best to not be defined by the city we live in. Thank you.
