My Students

I am so fortunate to teach wonderful students this year! The year has only just begun and I am excited to build our positive learning community. I work at a Title I school, and my classroom is a culturally diverse classroom. They are dreamers, thinkers and questioners alike.

My students are growing as mathematicians everyday and learn best from a variety of activities.

The students go through math rotations twice a week and students are loving accessing the curriculum in many different ways.

My Project

My students enjoy math and love the variety of learning opportunities in our classroom. I enjoy having class discussions as a whole groups and working in small groups to help extend learning opportunities or help to review difficult concepts.

The ETA hand2mind Daily Math Fluency Kit with Number Strings and Number Talks will allow my class to gain a deeper conceptual understanding and flexibility with numbers.

This kit will fit perfectly in weekly math rotations and be a great resource for number talks. The number string and number talks resources will allow students to be flexible with math concepts and allow for rich conversations.
