My Students

The learners in my school come from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs. My class has a large number of students with disabilities and special needs including ESL, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. These students along with our regular education students who perform at or above grade level create a unique learning environment.

Studies show that quality early childhood programming provide children with a great start to their school career.

Our goal is to provide a place to be creative and curious while also learning to be great people!

My Project

The Daily Math Fluency kit will provide my students with a strong base of knowledge surrounding number sense. By developing this skill early on, students will have a greater understanding of math concepts which will allow them to progress to addition, multiplication and beyond with greater ease. The manipulatives provide the visual learners another tool to gain knowledge as well.

Little learners need a strong understanding of number sense.

This kit also includes some wonderful teacher resources such as daily number talks, daily math activity ideas, and number strings. These are great resources to build their confidence and understanding in math!
