My Students

My students are all at varying levels in Math. Some are on level, some are below level, and some are advanced. They love to learn through activities, investigations, and small groups.

One new and challenging activity that I will implement is Math Fact Ninjas.

Students will practice + and - math facts. They will track their progress on black pencils with colored bands representing each level of mastery.

We will need about 40 dozen Mirado black #2 pencils for this activity. Students will each get a pencil for addition facts, and then one for subtraction. This will be enough pencils for all of the third graders.

My Project

(They look awesome!)

My student's ability to retain/recall addition and subtraction facts will improve their success with computation and problem solving.
