My Students

Manipulatives make math so much more meaningful for Kindergarten students! Help us build our math centers with these materials that will get students excited about math as they enter the school year.

My students will be entering the school year in a transitional kindergarten classroom.

Transitional kindergarten is part of a two year kindergarten program that will leave children better prepared to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Our curriculum goals include providing a solid academic foundation as well as enhancing the social and emotional skills that lead to later success.

My Project

The math manipulatives requested for our classroom will help students develop creativity and learn cooperation skills. Most importantly, in a developmental classroom they will learn through free exploration and play. Access to these core manipulatives help to facilitate learning in a real and engaging manner.

These manipulatives will provide my students with the opportunity to learn problem solving, teamwork and communication - all skills that are vital in building a strong foundation for later success not only in school but also in life.
