I teach math and coach swimming at a very diverse high school with students that have taught me so much over the more than 30 years that I've been teaching here! Their love and continuous hard work makes me a better teacher and coach! They would be so appreciative if you support them!
My Project
The items that you will be helping purchase for my students will help them academically, physically and emotionally!
We are doing hybrid learning during the pandemic where some students will remain at home and some will be coming to school.
They all need resources to help with practicing math problems and the white boards will help students at home and in class. It allows them to write their work down and show it to me on camera or in class and then they can quickly correct their work and move on to another problem!
Some of these same students and others are involved in our swimming team and I'm trying to help our students feel safe and welcomed to get physically involved in a sport. The yoga mats and exercise items will help swimmers be able to stretch and do dry land workouts while others are swimming in the pool since we are limited with the number of swimmers permitted in the pool. The cleaning supplies will help clean these items after each practice.
