My Students
The key to success is education. Help us become amazing mathematicians!
My class is made up of 32 eager to learn fourth graders. My school is located in Queens and all of our children get free breakfast and lunch. Many of the children are English as a Second Language learners. My class is eager to learn new things and loves math.
My Project
We would like to make our own math games to reinforce math skills that we are learning. As part of our math curriculum there are many games. These games are a great way to reinforce what is being taught that day. However we need supplies (paper, pens, sheet protectors, etc.) to make these games. We also would like some flash cards to help us practice our multiplication and division facts as well as fractions. By using flash cards to practice my class can become better at their facts which will help them to do better all year in math.
Help inspire the next generation of mathematicians. We love using games to help us explore new math concepts. Help to inspire a love of learning and math in my classroom this year.
