This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A math classroom needs many regular everyday items to run efficiently and in an organized manner. Many of my students don't come with the materials they need to be successful on a daily basis!

When my students walk into my room, they know to expect a routine which requires them to get started on their entry activity which includes a pencil and paper with the assignment on it.

Having simple materials such as pencils and copy paper helps my students demonstrate their math thinking and gets them ready for the day ahead.
