My Students

A typical day in my classroom is filled with learning, listening, and laughter. My students are comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas, but they need opportunities to work at their own levels in small groups with the math learning centers and multiplication activities that I am requesting.

Our school is located in a rural community with predominantly low income to middle class families.

There are approximately 500 students in our pre-K to 5th grade elementary school. We have a very active Parent Teacher Association. Our students enjoy sports as well as writing, reading, and science clubs here at our school.

My Project

I will use these resources to differentiate instruction in my classroom. The students will be able to work in small groups and individually to master the skills needed to score well on the end of grade test and be ready to move successfully into the fourth grade next year.

These resources will give my students the skills that they need to achieve high scores on the end of grade tests, as well as the confidence to know that they have mastered the curriculum standards.
