My Students

My school's population is made up of a diverse group. We have such an amazing community of family, teachers, neighbors, and friends.

My students are my priority.

From 8:00-3:00, I have the privilege of being their mommy, doctor, nurse, counselor, coach, and more. I am so lucky to have such wonderful students.

My students want to be here. They work hard and appreciate our wonderful school. We are a title 1 school and more than 75% of our students are from low-income​ households, so anything you can do to help is appreciated beyond measure!

My Project

When the second grade year starts, it is a difficult transition sometimes for children in math class. The work is a lot harder than it was in first grade and it can be a little intimidating. These puzzles and games will help my children start the year off with a fun creative way to have math practice. During math, I set up my room in centers and each group will stop at three different centers including one with me, in a small group, to learn the mini lesson. These puzzles will help make the rotation fun!
