My students need math write boards to help them memorize math facts and the markers to write on the boards. The folder games allow for the students to learn reading comprehension skills.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work in an inner city school and teach fourth/fifth grade. We are a Montessori school with very little funding. Most of our students are on free and reduced lunch. My students are one's who want to do well in school, but need the extra push.
Thank you for anything that you can donate to our school.
We appreciate all of the efforts to try and help us succeed. These materials will be put to good use and will be taken care of always.
My Project
I chose the visual math boards for my students to use. These boards will allow for my students to visually see how numbers work together in order to create an answer. These math boards also allow for the students to be able to learn about specific properties. The markers will help the students to write on the boards in different colors to see the differences of each step.
I chose the folder language games to help my students gain a richer vocabulary and to understand what the words mean.
The students will also have the opportunity to practice reading comprehension skills in a fun and engaging way.
