Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love my students. My students are the reason why I love teaching. They walk into our classroom every single day with smiles on their faces. They are always eager to start the day. When I ask them, "Who is the best class?" they reply, "We are!"
I have always let them know that I believe they are capable of doing anything they want.
Despite so many hardships, my students come to class every day and are eager to learn and do their best.
My Project
My students have difficulty remembering to regroup when subtracting, multiplying and dividing. I want to integrate new ways for them to practice. Some of my students have special needs like staying motivated, needing manipulatives, and staying focused to lessen behavior issues. This will be perfect for them.
Bingo math motivates students to learn addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Bingo will put a fun twist on just about any math topic. I know my students will be able to use it effectively during centers, tutorials, or just as an incentive to keep them motivated. The bingo set can also be used to encourage families to participate with their children in math activities.
