Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Construction paper gives the students creative and alternative ways to learn and understand math assignments and projects. For example, the students can receive a more hands on approach to understanding the decomposition of fractions. They will be able to better differentiate the denominator and numerator. Additionally, what do students use most in math class? Pencils!!! Birthday pencils are a special way to give them what they need and celebrate them at the same time. Wherever there are pencils, there must be a pencil sharpener - a quality one that will actually sharpen and not devour the pencils. The replenishment of these supplies will greatly impact the students and will show them that their educators truly care for them.
