My Students

I love kindergarten! Kindergarten students are ready to learn! Although our district is not high on the socio-economic scale, we will strive to provide the latest and educationally appropriate materials and activities for our students. Teaching the children in a meaningful and engaging manner so that they can acquire the skills and knowledge is a top priority! We want them to be lifelong learners and leaders. 78% of our students receive free or reduced meals. Many come from homes that are dysfunctional. Our goal is to make school a fun learning environment.

My Project

Our class is in desperate need of magnetic math manipulatives and independent science centers to enhance instruction in these areas.

DonorsChoose provided my class with a wonderful magnetic board for the math center, so now I want to add the needed resources to enhance instruction.

This complete set will give me all that I need to model math with the students.

The independent science centers will be a refreshing addition to the class science instruction. So many times we don't have time to enhance student instruction in science. These quick centers will be great for students to practice and grow in the science-related curriculum.
