Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m Possible!” We are a very energetic classroom with a very diverse population.
My students have many different characteristics, but one common goal: to learn and be successful.
We spend our day working through challenges and celebrating the successes! My students are motivated and like to have fun in the classroom! The classroom is a revolving door with students entering at different times for different subjects. They love to be included and want to learn how to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
My Project
Starting at a new school and new grade level means that I need help providing my students the materials that they need the most! My students have a range of disabilities. They learn better through hands-on activities, and these manipulatives would be perfect! The Daily Reading Journals will help students correct sentences, practice their sight words, and help with comprehension strategies! The Daily Math Journals will help practice their math facts! The Kindness Books will help promote kindness in our classroom and school! The storage containers will help keep us organized and safe!
The manipulatives will help all my students, regardless of their disability, learn and be successful!
I want my students to feel comfortable in the classroom and know that they are successful. By providing them with these materials, they will be able to increase their reading skills while having fun! I want to give my students all that they deserve!
