Every morning, I greet my students at the door with a good morning and a smile and a hug. I want my students to love coming to our classroom and love learning.
They come from very different backgrounds as we are a small rural town.
For a lot of the students, they are going to the same school that their parents went to. Our school is rich in history and pride. Some of my students come from very humble beginnings. Together, we become a family and work together and learn and try to have as much as possible.
My Project
Kindergarten is where education begins for so many students. We need to try to make it engaging and fun and most importantly hands on. All students love to be actively engaged. These hands-on centers will help my students with learning their upper case and lower case letters. It will also help them to develop their basic math skills, but these number of bonds will help to start their math minds developing and learning concepts.
Hands-on learning is where true learning happens.
It helps to make the connections permanent and lasting. Students need to have a strong foundation in the early grades to help them to be successful in their later school years. These hands-on activities will help my students will the basic skills they need to lay that foundation. Reading and Math success will help them to be amazing students.
