This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students enjoy an inclusive classroom of special education and preschool for all children. All of my students enjoy using their individual strengths and talents to contribute to group projects. Independently each student is eager to challenge themselves to learn and grow. They have a big smile as they share their new knowledge with others. I strive to create a classroom where each child's skills and knowledge is celebrated and important in the successful completion of every day. We love learning!

My Project

Math games will provide an opportunity for small group learning. The games can be used by children independently or cooperatively to learn valuable skills. The literacy items can be used during large group activities to create matching games and build teamwork skills as students work together to make correct matches. The visual timer will be a wonderful tool to keep everyone in the classroom aware of necessary changes related to specific time frames. When students and teachers have these resources available in the classroom it creates a fun and organized learning environment where knowledge can grow and everyone enjoys learning.
