My Students

Imagine a beautiful sunny day, and students wanting to give up their only 20 minute recess to stay in and practice their math skills, this happens regularly with our 4th and 5th grade students. They walk in with anticipation, enthusiasm, and motivation to play the Math 24 game.

Who they are- 4th or 5th grade students from a small city school in the heart of Pennsylvania.

We have a mixed population of students from a variety of different backgrounds, cultures, and lower social economics. As an inner school, our school offers several enriching programs to ensure the development of the whole child.

My Project

24 Math is a unique mathematics teaching tool designed to sharpen students’ mental math, number sense, critical thinking, problem solving, and pattern sensing. Students use addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division to develop solutions to problems that equal 24. This fast, fun, exciting math game is designed for students in Grades 4-8.

This project will make a difference and improve the classroom/school by encouraging students to love math and incorporate math in their daily lives.

The students don't even know they are learning while having so much fun.
