At E.C.Reems Academy we have to rely on portable materials for our physical education program. Each class is responsible for providing the majority of these materials. Our class is in need of jump ropes, small riding toys, soccer and playground balls, basketballs and other materials to promote physical fitness. Our students watch a lot of television and play video games at home. As their teacher, it is one of my many responsibilties to give them the opportunities to expend their boundless energy in a variety of ways. I have purchased many of the materials myself, but in order to provide quality items, we need another source of funding. My class has 20 students. I guarantee, these playground items will be put to good use!
