Help me give my students new seating and classroom materials! My students need to be able to move their bodies while they are learning and these seating options would provide this need for them!
I serve second grade students that receive special education instruction. I have students that are struggling readers, struggling with basic math concepts, and students that need instruction in social skills. I also have students that just need a little extra support to be successful in the classroom.
My students love to learn!
They always come to my classroom excited and ready to learn. I love being able to break down material to make it easier for them to understand. Special education teachers are so lucky because we get more opportunities to spend individual time with our students and try to work on specific goals depending on their needs.
My Project
My students need new resources to help them learn in a fun and engaging environment. They need things such as a magnetic dry erase board that is large enough for them to work with a partner or a small group of students. This board will allow them to practice what we are learning independently and with friends. They also need materials such as colored paper for writing and art projects. My students are so creative and I'd love to be able to provide colorful paper for them to showcase their talents.
