Materials For Science Center

My students need materials for the class science center, such as a bug kit, plant lab, and a magnets discovery kit.

My Students

Help me help my children to learn and grow by allowing them to explore their world! My students do not have anything in the classroom that is science related.

The children in my preschool class come from a very small rural area in Kentucky.

The majority of my children are four years old. This is the first year these children have ever been to school. I want them to be able to remember school as a positive experience they will remember the rest of their lives. This is my first year teaching in this area, and my classroom is very short on supplies.

My Project

The requested resources will allow children to explore hands on. The items I have requested are the following: a sorting bug kit, plant lab, and a magnets discovery Kitti want my students to have a better understanding of nature and the world around them. These supplies will help children understand how plants grow and why it's so important to allow nature to run its course. They will also be able to complete activities like this with their peers and grasp an understanding of working together as a team.

If these donations are made to my classroom, these children will have access to new materials for the first time.

These children need to experience real world activities like the materials that are listed above. Science materials are hard to find at stores in this area.
