Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach fifth grade at an urban school in Colorado. My students come from all different backgrounds and are excited to come to school each and every day. As part of their learning, my students work in whole class settings, small group settings, and individual settings.
Everyday my students work hard to become the best learners they can in fifth grade.
They are very active and need activity to help stay focused on daily learning. My students work hard every day and get excited about new opportunities to learn and display their learning.
My Project
The materials in my project will allow my students the opportunity to learn and have the best opportunity for their learning. We are in need of basic supplies such as: pencils, paper, scissors, tape, colored pencils, crayons, and notebooks. These supplies are the foundation of our everyday learning within our classroom and are always needing to be replenished.
My students try their hardest everyday and these basic supplies will allow them to continue working and learning to their highest potential.
We use all of these supplies daily and without them, learning is much harder. Pencils are the foundation for our creativity to get onto the page, and of course, paper is where our creativity appears!
